A year and a half after giving birth to her daughter Bella, Belinda Bencic has made an incredible comeback: having risen from 1447th in the world to 11th, the Swiss player is shining again on the WTA circuit with two titles in 2025, including the one in Tokyo.
Belinda Bencic made a triumphant return to Tokyo. The St. Gallen native defeated Linda Noskova 6-2, 6-3 to claim her 10th career title and second of the season. Having already won the Olympic title in the Japanese capital in 2021, Bencic confirmed her strong connection to Tokyo and will climb to 11th in the world on Monday after a year of resurgence.
