Postal workers - difficult working conditions
In 30 years, Switzerland has gone from 3,600 to around 900 post offices.
The reason for the closures is the decline in over-the-counter transactions, high costs and digitisation.
Counter services are being replaced by in-store agencies, MyPost24 machines and online services.
The political debate continues, as many communes feel abandoned.
