Hockey: 2009 World Cup in Switzerland: Ticket prices known

The sale of tickets for the world championship of Group A The tournament, which will take place from April 24 to May 10, 2009 in Bern and Kloten, will begin on September 8 at 8:09 AM sharp. Tickets for a preliminary round match will cost at least 49 francs.

Starting September 8th, combined tickets (daily or long-term passes) will be available. Individual tickets will only be on sale from February 1st, 2009.

The best price – 19 francs – will be for the relegation round matches in Kloten. A preliminary round match will cost a minimum of 49 francs, a quarter-final 79 francs, and the final 149 francs. There will be three categories of price per match.

Day passes will go on sale starting September 8th. For 79 francs, they will allow you to attend both games of the day at the same rink. For two quarter-finals and two semi-finals, the prices will be 149 and 199 francs respectively. Please note that only combined tickets for the preliminary and intermediate rounds will be available in early September; for all other rounds, you will have to wait until December 1st.
