People: Emma Watson after Harry Potter

The actress who played Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter saga for several years decided—at the age of 21—to leave acting behind and pursue a career in fashion. She was even named "Fashion Icon of the Year" at the Elle Style Awards (2011). Many magazines and major brands have sought her out since. After serving as an ambassador for Burberry for the past two years, she has just signed on to become the face of Lancôme.
A choice between the two
Until now, Emma had to divide her time between her university studies and her acting career, but she had to make a choice. Today, she is in high demand as a model for her look, sought after by designers, and committed to her ethical clothing brand. People Tree, Emma Watson already knows what she wants and her future is full of promise.
Latest filming
In 2010, she acted in the production Napoleon and Betsy (elle joue le rôle de cette dernière) qui raconte la rencontre particulière de Napoléon avec une aristocrate, sur l’Ile de Saint-Hélène, alors qu’il y était exilé.
Fans of the beautiful Hermione Granger will, however, be able to find her in the very last Harry Potter which will be in theaters on November 24th.
