Roland-Garros: Nadal will play his most important match of the season on Sunday

After celebrating his 25th birthday today, Rafael Nadal is preparing for Sunday's match, his sixth Roland-Garros final; a tournament he has already won five times (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010). He believes it will be the most important match of his season. "It will be a match against the best player of the year (Novak Djokovic) or against the best player of all time (Roger Federer)," he said before leaving Centre Court.

After his victory over the British, Andy Murray, in three sets (6-4 7-5 6-4), he could well equal, this Sunday, the record performance of Bjorn Borg, the Swedish player who won his 6th title in Paris, in 25 years, in 1981. This Sunday, he will therefore try to retain his title by facing the winner of the clash of the titans of these semi-finals which will pit Roger Federer against Novak Djokovic. If Federer emerges victorious, the Spaniard will relive with him a remake of 2006, 2007 and 2008, three finals which had gone to his advantage.

The stars are there too

The 2011 Roland-Garros attracted tennis diehards, including some of the biggest stars in show business. Stars such as Yannick Noah, Pippa Middleton, Tony Parker, Virginie Efira, Michèle Larocque, Patrick Bruel, Sylvie Vartan, Armelle and Lio were there to witness the tournament's highlights in person.
