Royal Wedding: London in full swing

The entire British capital is bustling with preparations to ensure that the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton – to be celebrated in 10 days – is a resounding success. The event, considered the wedding of the decade, will attract guests from all corners of the globe.

While Prince William is busily preparing for his wedding, his fiancée Kate Middleton has begun rehearsals for the ceremony alongside her sister Pippa and Prince Harry. Meanwhile, court musicians, army soldiers, Buckingham Palace chefs, young singers from the grand choir, and staff at the Royal Mews are working on every detail of the highly anticipated wedding.

And that's not all. Even the wax replica of the handsome Prince, on display at Madame Tussaud's in London, has undergone a complete makeover: a new blue suit and matching tie, makeup to enhance the skin tone, a fresh haircut, and well-polished shoes. The mannequin has also been moved to occupy a central position in the area reserved for the royal family. After the wedding, the wax prince is expected to be joined by a replica of his young bride.

In London's theatre district, shop employees in the West End will wear special hats for the occasion and will remain open all day on April 29th despite the bank holiday declared for the wedding. Nearly a million people are expected to flock to the shops in this area over the weekend, and some 20,000 staff will be on hand to welcome customers.
