People: Charlie Sheen gets booed by his audience

Video in Detroit at the Fox Theatre:

If there's one American actor who knows how to make a name for himself in the media, it's Charlie Sheen. After being fired from the TV series Two and a Half Men, it was revealed that he had failed his drug rehabilitation program. Keeping his cool, Sheen then decided to put on his own one-man show: Charlie Sheen LIVE: My violent torpedo of truth / Defeat is not an option. Within 18 minutes, he had sold out all the tickets for the show online.

A show gone wrong

But his troubles weren't over yet. About 20 minutes into the show, the audience began leaving the Fox Theatre; a situation that escalated to the point that an hour later, in front of an audience of 5,000 people, Sheen was forced to leave the stage amid boos.

Yet the show's opening was well-received, with its parody music videos. It was shortly after Charlie Sheen's monologue began that the first boos began. Worse still, they reached a crescendo when the actor mocked Detroit. Not very...

Irritated, Mr. Sheen eventually launched a musical interlude after which he did not return to the stage.

A good gesture

Despite everything, Charlie Sheen has a heart. He plans to donate one dollar to the Red Cross for every ticket purchased, to help victims of the disasters affecting Japan.
