Since February 14, Michael Jackson's sister has continued her major world tour which, she states on her official website (www.janetjackson.com), is the most important of her career. This decision concludes a retrospective project initiated with the release of her "best of" "Number Ones", released in 2209. To celebrate her 30-year career, the pop rock singer, still going strong at 45, plans to include 35 cities on the calendar of this major world tour entitled: "Number Ones, Up Close and Personal". The first show was given in Hong Kong.

The chosen cities

The venues have been booked in the various cities chosen by Janet Jackson's fans, at her request. While the entire tour has not yet been revealed, the artist's website lists the American destinations where she will perform starting March 29. Part of her European itinerary has also been revealed: she will be performing in Paris at the Olympia on June 26, 27, and 28, in London on June 30 and July 2 at the Royal Albert Hall, and in Monte Carlo on July 8 and 9 at the Sporting Club.
