Stars rally to help Japan

To help support the efforts of the victims of the earthquake in Japan, Lady Gaga has created a prayer bracelet for sale on her official website (www.ladygaga.com) at a minimum cost of $1.45. Each buyer can choose to donate more if they wish. (see video)

Like the singer, Charlie Sheen has decided to donate one dollar to the Red Cross for every ticket (costing US$69) purchased for his recently launched one-man show. His first two shows in Detroit and Chicago sold out in 18 minutes.

Other stars are urging their fans on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media to support the earthquake victims: Chris Brown, Shakira, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, P. Diddy, and Dita Von Teese, for example, shared a text explaining how to donate to the Red Cross by simple text message.
