iPad 2 goes on sale

Apple iPad 2 – the iPad 2 is now on sale

On March 11th, the’iPad version 2 It will be sold in the USA. For Europeans (France, Switzerland, Germany…), it will be available on March 25th.

For fun, an Apple geek has already set up camp in front of the Apple Store on Knox Street in Texas. He's keeping his followers updated through a small blog and a Twitter account (tweet: http://twitter.com/iJustinOfficial) about his camping experience outside the store, and he'll share his first impressions after the transaction and opening of the packaging.

Sold for €509 in France, the device should be available for around CHF 700 in Switzerland.

There is not much difference between the old and the new one; some cynics even go so far as to say that the new model should be called iPad 1.2 and not 2.0.
