Employment: Stressed women risk their health more
Emploi – Les femmes et le stress
Les stressées au travail ont 40% plus de risques d’avoir des ennuis avec leur santé.
A ten-year analysis of 17,415 women shows disastrous cardiovascular outcomes in stressful, demanding jobs with little freedom to express creativity and free will. These studies were conducted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
These risks are further increased in the case of job insecurity. However, a distinction must be made between the first type of employment, which leads to an increased risk of 88% of having a heart attack, and a higher rate of risk of 43% of ending up with bypass surgery or other artery opening surgery, and this, in the long term.
Job insecurity does not ultimately cause death, but rather high cholesterol, obesity and/or high blood pressure.
