US Open 2010: Federer Results

US Open 2010 – Roger Federer's Results

Before this Grand Slam tournament, Federer claims to be in excellent form. His draw will be far from easy, and he will need to be physically and mentally strong at all times to try and reach the final against Nadal (for example). The two men have never met in the final of this tournament; it is the only Grand Slam tournament where they have not faced each other in the final.

The US Open will take place from August 30th to September 12th, 2010

Semi-final

N.Djokovic SRB/3 bR Federer SUI/2 7-5 1-6 7-5 2-6 6-4

The dream final: Nadal-Federer will not take place this year at the US Open.

- Robin Söderling(5) – Federer

Statement: " I haven't lost a single set in the tournament yet, so I'm obviously happy with how I'm playing. »

Robin has been really strong for the last two years; he's going to finish in the top 5 by the end of the year. »

I beat him in the quarter-finals here last year after a tough match, and I expect the same thing. There are no secrets between us. »

1/8th final

R.Federer SUI/2 b. J.Melzer AUT/13 6-3 7-6 6-3

Roger has once again built up his confidence before the serious stuff

Let's hope Federer manages to reach the final… the road will be long and especially full of obstacles.
