Belgian tourist stabbed in Egypt
A A Belgian tourist was hospitalized in critical condition on Tuesday after being stabbed in Aswan., In southern Egypt, according to hospital sources. Aswan is a city located in the Nile Valley, some 1,100 km south of Cairo, the Egyptian capital.
The 26-year-old man was shot in the neck. According to police, he was taken to a nearby hospital after the attack, and his assailant was arrested. Police have not released the victim's name or any possible motives for the attack.
