Mercury shows spring temperatures
The mercury reached record highs for the season this Saturday, the hottest day since the beginning of the year. It climbed to 17 degrees in Chur and Basel, 16 in Aarau, 15 in Lucerne and at Zurich Airport.
On Sunday, thermometers are expected to show even higher values, MeteoNews reported. Temperatures are even expected to reach close to 20 degrees in the foehn valleys.
