Ben Folds pays tribute to Merton

I have already introduced you Merton. The pianist who caused a furore on the web by improvising in front of his piano during a Chatroulette session.

This video quickly created the buzz and many internet users thought they recognized the American singer and musician Ben Folds. It must be admitted that the resemblance is indeed there. This rumor however was officially denied by the latter, who took the opportunity to pay tribute to Merton and his performance by improvising in front of the webcam at one of his concerts in North Carolina, in front of almost 2,000 people! It was the same hoodie and the same principle: to launch into a session of improvised songs for the benefit of Internet users on the video chat site. Some might say it's a bit less good, but personally I think it's pretty good! In any case, it's a nice nod to the mysterious and talented Merton.
