France: Rumor about the Sarkozy Bruni couple
According to messages on Twitter and a now-deleted message on the Journal du Dimanche blog, the Sarkozy couple is in crisis.
Nicolas Sarkozy has already made it clear that he does not want to talk to journalists about his relationship: «You must not know what the schedule of a President of the Republic is like, but I don't have a second to waste on this nonsense, not even half a second».» at a press conference with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Clearly, this personal question was highly inappropriate at the time.
Carla Bruni-Sarkozy said she had great confidence in her husband, the President, and that a marriage was made to last forever. She made no comment on the rumours of infidelity concerning her.
