Microsoft and Yahoo will be able to join forces against Google

The agreement between Microsoft and Yahoo, announced at the end of July 2009, has been validated last Thursday by the European Commission and the US Department of Justice. This exchange concerns the presence of Microsoft's Bing search engine on Yahoo (with input from Yahoo's search technology) and the sale of advertising space delegated to Yahoo.
