Women's Downhill
In alpine skiing, in the women's downhill event, dominated by the Americans Lindsey Vonn and Julia Mancuso, the Swiss did not manage to reach the podium. THE Swiss hockey players signed their first victory at the Vancouver Olympics in their 3rd match. They beat Slovakia 5-2. Their next opponents are the Russians and the Chinese.

Men's Curling
The Swiss men's national team curling signed a second success in two daysAfter Denmark, it was the United States that lost to the national team 7-6. The Swiss' next opponent will be Great Britain.
