Gad Elmaleh, master of ceremonies at the César Awards on February 27

La 35ème Cérémonie des César sera présentée par le comédien et acteur franco-marocain Gad Elmaleh aux côtés de la comédienne française Valérie Lemercier. Les deux acteurs ont tous deux déjà présenté les César, en 2006 et 2007 pour Valérie Lemercier et en 2004 et 2005 pour Gal Elmaleh. Ce duo de choc promet de par leur expérience, leur imagination et leur talent une soirée inoubliable, à la hauteur de l’évènement.
The 35th César Awards will be broadcast on Saturday, February 27, 2010, starting at 9:00 p.m., live from the Théâtre du Châtelet, on CANAL+, free-to-air and exclusively.

Let us recall that the prestigious ceremony is the French equivalent of the "Oscars". It rewards French cinematographic productions each year in categories such as direction, screenplay, acting, film music, etc. It is, along with the famous Cannes Film Festival, one of the most publicized events of the 7th art in France.
According to the TV channel “Canal+”, which is broadcasting the evening organized in association with the Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques, the nominations for the French film awards will be announced on January 22.
