A look back at the match against Kloten on 28 November

Ajoie are back on the winning track after their disappointment in Davos on Tuesday evening. Against the Aviateurs, the Yellow and Blacks were able to make the difference and win 3-2.

The Jurassiens opened the scoring on their first power play, Nättinen finishing off a superb cross pass from his compatriot Turkulainen. Ajoulot's power-play proved particularly inspired as, on their second opportunity with five against four, it was again Nättinen who beat Zurich keeper Waeber to make it 2-0.

Kloten did not give up, however, and stayed in touch. Morley reduced the deficit before the first break, putting the game back on track.

Honka picked up the puck in defence, set up Cormier who ideally fed Kyen Sopa. The latter came up against the opposing goalkeeper and won his duel.

In the third period, Waeber gave way to his replacement Fadani. Driven by urgency, Marjamäki's side threw themselves forward in an attempt to come back. Kloten held out a faint hope when Dario Meyer made it 2-3 from six with less than three minutes remaining. The tension was ratcheted up a notch when Fey, who had come to defend his team-mates, found himself in a tussle with Gignac: both men were penalised. Despite Zurich's last-ditch attempts, the Ajoulots fought back with determination to win a nerve-wracking game.

Ajoie's momentum continues to build. Despite the slip-up at home to the leaders, Greg Ireland's side are back in the ascendancy and picking up valuable points. It remains to be seen whether Zug, who visit Ajoie tomorrow, will be La Vouivre's next victims.
