Each player receives two face-down cards.

These cards are dealt in turn by all players around the table.

This person is called "the Dealer".

In our example, we will take two cards at random.

Three cards visible called "The Flop" are dealt to the middle of the table by the dealer.

A fourth visible card is then drawn. It is called "The Turning Point" Or "The Turn".

There fifth and final card visible from the sleeve is pulled. It is called "the River" Or "The River".

You have in total seven cards at your disposal to make the best possible five-card combination.

Hand ranking

Here is the ranking of the hands, from the weakest combination to the strongest:

The height »

La main n’a pas de combinaisons particulières. Dans ce cas, nous retenons simplement la carte la plus haute. In our example, the player has a King of Hearts.

The pair »

Two identical cards matched with 3 unsuited cards. In our example, the player has a pair of Queens.

The double pair »

Two identical cards combined with two other identical cards. In our example, the player has a pair of Tens and a pair of Twos.

Three of a Kind »

Three identical cards combined with two unsuited cards. In our example, the player has three of a kind Sixes.

The sequel »

Five cards in sequence but not of the same suit. The highest card determines the rank of the sequence. In our example, the player has a straight to the Seven.

The color »

Five cards of the same suit that are not consecutive. The highest card determines the suit height. Dans notre exemple, le joueur a une couleur à l’As.

The full »

Three of a kind combined with two of a kind. A full house is three of a kind plus a pair. In our example, the player has a full house of Queens over Jacks.

The square »

Four identical cards. Dans notre exemple, le joueur a un carré d’As.

The straight flush

Five consecutive cards of the same suit. The highest card determines the height of the straight flush. In our example, the player has a straight flush at the Six.

The Royal Flush »

Tout simplement la main la plus forte du poker, c’est une suite à la couleur hauteur As. In our example, the player has a royal flush.
