US Open: 16/16 – all seeds are in the round of 16

The 16 seeded teams have made it past the second round and are in the last 16.

This situation is a first for a Grand Slam tournament, with the top 16 seeds of the 32 players still in contention at Flushing Meadows. This has never happened in the 41-year history of the OPEN era.

Federer has already beaten Hewitt (US OPEN: Federer – Hewitt match result), and Djokovic too.
