The season will be busy, the skier does not want to target exclusively the month of February with the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy but be sharp for all the races of the season.
Looking back on the superb 2024-2025 season
Camille Rast, a 26-year-old Valais alpine skier, experienced a meteoric rise during the 2024-2025 season, establishing herself as one of the rising stars of Swiss alpine skiing.
An exceptional season
Last winter, Camille made a splash by claiming her first World Cup victory in Killington, followed by a triumph in Flachau, Austria. These performances propelled her to the top of the world rankings in slalom. The highlight of her season came at the World Championships in Saalbach, where she won the gold medal in slalom, ahead of Wendy Holdener and Katharina Liensberger.
These exceptional results earned Camille the title of Swiss Skier of the Year 2025.
A preparation marked by rigor
Behind these successes, intense physical preparation was carried out with Florian Lorimier, renowned physical trainer, also in charge of Justin Murisier. This collaboration allowed Camille to strengthen her physical condition and optimize her performance on the slopes.
Independent management of one's career
True to her principles, Camille has chosen to manage her relationships with the media and sponsors alone. This approach allows her to maintain her independence and focus fully on her sporting goals.
Towards new horizons
Despite a hip injury sustained during the Sestriere slalom in February, Camille remains optimistic and determined. She is already looking ahead to the 2025-2026 season with ambition, particularly with her sights set on the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympic Games.
With her steely mentality and versatility, Camille Rast is establishing herself as a skier to watch closely in the years to come.
