Storm Benjamin: Already a power outage in Val-de-Ruz
There Storm Benjamin made a spectacular entrance into the canton
- Several villages in Val-de-Ruz are without electricity (Montmollin, Geneveys sur Coffrane…) still in progress at 8:30 am and first cuts around 7:45 am.
- Violent wind
- Heavy rain
The region was already battered by winds at the beginning of October.

130 km/h at Chasseral and 135 km/h at Les Diablerets this morning, and the worst is yet to come Swiss weather estimates the peak of the storm will be from 9:00 am.
