20th season of France's Got Talent
Celebrating a success
The twentieth season of France's Got Talent promises to be a special edition: it's not every day that a talent show this long-running reaches its 20th anniversary. Starting in July, viewers will be reunited with the iconic jury composed of Éric Antoine, Hélène Ségara, Marianne James, and Sugar Sammy, with Karine Le Marchand hosting. The key idea behind this anniversary season is to bring back former talent for a special "Talent des talents" show, to see which notable artists from the past will shine once again.

The talents that the show revealed
Since its creation, "France's Got Talent" has served as a springboard for numerous artists in a wide variety of genres. These include:
- Caroline Costa: revealed during season 3, she became known to the general public with her pop voice.
- Mickaël Dos Santos: a finalist in a season of the TV talent show, he has made his mark with an extraordinary career.
- Axel Sampino with Alizée Bois: young Latin dancers who had won very early in the show's history, inspiring many with their style and mastery from a young age.
These talents demonstrate the show's strength: unearthing not only spectacular acts for television, but also artists who pursue careers, gain visibility, and sometimes notoriety.

Karine Le Marchand: the stage boss and her little stories
A strong role in presentation
Karine Le Marchand has hosted the show since season 15, succeeding David Ginola. Her appointment was widely praised. She herself declared that she was “super proud to have been named conductor” of La France a un incroyable talent, and hoped to live up to a “crazy and so human” jury. She is clearly a plus for the show, she brings simplicity, joy, sensitivity, and her natural beauty also makes viewing more enjoyable.

Funny moments on set
Among the most notable anecdotes of this twentieth anniversary:
- During the filming of the auditions, a camera broke down. Rather than let the atmosphere die, Karine Le Marchand improvised: she took the microphone, set the mood (with “Cela année-là” by Claude François), and kept the audience entertained like a true entertainer.
- She also has a remarkable style of dress: many have observed that she often wears the same outfit, a deliberate choice. She recently explained why: there's a visual consistency, a strong identity to maintain, and it makes getting ready each day easier.
- Funny interaction with a candidate who calls her “Corinne”: the candidate begins with “Hello Corinne”, Karine gently corrects him (“No, I’m Karine… but that’s okay, I’ll call you Jean”), causing everyone to laugh.
What this 20th edition brings that's new
- A special show to celebrate the 20th anniversary, featuring the return of former winners and finalists.
- The casting is open to everyone, amateurs and professionals, throughout France (and in Switzerland for some castings). This demonstrates the desire to rediscover new talent from all walks of life.
- The continuity of the jury, a sign of stability: viewers will find the already well-known personalities, a guarantee of programs consistent in spirit and level.
For what #LFAUIT continues to touch as much ?
- Diversity of talent: singers, dancers, magicians, street performers, improbable acts — the show appeals because it is not limited to one genre.
- Emotions: personal narratives, touching stories, courage behind the acts—the audience connects as much with the performances as with the journeys. Karine Le Marchand, through her tone and her ability to humanize moments, plays an important role in conveying this emotion.
- Show and heart: the show remains above all entertainment, but with a real place for kindness, humor, and the unexpected.
