Sport: Another record for Duplantis
After his record in Lausanne in 2024, the Swedish athlete is breaking records. This year, he is confirmed for the Zurich meeting but not for Athletissima.
Swedish pole vault prodigy Armand Duplantis continues to push the boundaries of his sport. On Tuesday evening, at the prestigious Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest (Continental Tour Gold), the 25-year-old two-time Olympic champion cleared a historic 6.29 meters, breaking his own world record by one centimeter.
Already considered one of the greatest pole vaulters of all time, Duplantis continues to impress with his consistency and ability to beat his own records. This new world record, achieved in an electric atmosphere, further reinforces his status as a living athletics legend.
