National Day Fireworks 2025
Every year, the Swiss national holiday gives rise to numerous celebrations throughout the country. But in Cortaillod, a small village nestled on the banks of the Lake Neuchâtel, the July 31st fireworks display is a particularly eagerly awaited event. This year again, the pyrotechnic display lit up the summer sky, offering a suspended moment, shared by hundreds of families, amazed children and visitors from the surrounding area.
In the video that we offer you, you can relive the 9 minutes of this spectacular fireworks display (I didn't film from the beginning, there were about 15 minutes in total). Fired from the banks of the lake, it projected multicolored bursts of light whose reflections in the water added a magical dimension to the scene. Bursts of gold, blue and red followed one another to the rhythm of the music and applause. A moment of simple, but unforgettable beauty.
This festive moment is part of a deep-rooted tradition in French-speaking Switzerland: that of gathering together, enjoying long summer evenings, and celebrating the country's identity and values together. In Cortaillod, this sense of community is strongly felt. Between the lake and the hills, the natural setting enhances the event and reinforces this sense of belonging.
Whether you were there that evening or not, this video will immerse you in the unique atmosphere of the evening of July 31, 2025. A fireworks display to see and see again, for the pleasure of the eyes and the heart.
Tonight, it's time for the 1st celebration in the major cities of Switzerland. August 1st celebration in Neuchâtel (we will be there)
