The fingerprint reader on the iPhone 5S is confirmed

Just a few hours before the keynote that should present the new iPhone (the new ones?), the new iPods and iOS 7 final, we learn even more about it via new rumors.

Rumors of a fingerprint reader on the next generation of iPhones (the 5S, not the 5C) have been circulating for quite some time. Several things have confirmed this, such as the iPhone box, which features a sort of circle around the home button. This same circle is also prominently displayed on the event invitation.

The empty circles would represent the fingerprint reader.

Today, an image of a future user manual has leaked online. This image is a kind of iPhone key and describes the buttons and ports. For the home button, it's no longer simply labeled "Home button" but "Home button / Touch ID sensor".

If this image turns out to be genuine, it means there's no longer any doubt. That said, even without this new information, there wasn't really any room for doubt. For two years now, Apple has struggled to keep its secrets until the presentation, such is the level of hype. Moreover, we can see that these leaks only concern the most sought-after products like the iPhone, the iPad, or the potential iWatch. There's no information whatsoever about future iPods, for example.

In any case, the wait is slowly starting to get shorter since, as I write these lines, there are only 3 hours left before the start of the keynote!
