Roger Federer (1) – Benjamin Becker (ATP 80) live from 6:30 p.m.

World number one Roger Federer will attempt to win his sixth title in Basel. To maintain his position as number one in the ATP rankings, he absolutely must retain this title. This first match shouldn't pose the slightest problem for the Basel player, as Roger has won the two players' only two meetings. Juan Martin Del Potro will be the main opponent in the title race. Before the Argentinian, he will certainly have to face Stanislas Wawrinka in the semifinals.

Roger is at the end of his career and he keeps losing these matches.
Il serait utile qu’il arrête de jouer et se permettre de sortir par la grande porte et pas par une fenêtre quelconque.
