Google updates the Galaxy Nexus

The advantage of buying Google phones is certainly the almost instantaneous updates. Given that none of their phones have a manufacturer's overlay, it's much easier to offer an update quickly. In fact, I've found this to be a major selling point. And if I had to buy an Androphone, I'd definitely opt for a Nexus.

The Galaxy Nexus is no exception, with Google announcing that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is being rolled out for their latest smartphone. This is great news for users, especially when you consider that many smartphones (even the most recent) are still running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Too bad for them.

If you're the proud owner of a Galaxy Nexus but haven't yet had the chance to update your smartphone, don't worry, because the update is being carried out via OTA. This means that not all smartphones will be updated at the same time, but this will happen over the coming days.

And if you've already been able to enjoy the update, feel free to share your impressions here 🙂
