Video: Haitians flee the city of Gonaïves

Hundreds of people left the town of Gonaïves in fear of Hurricane Ike, and the capital of the Artibonite province, which had already been devastated by tropical storm Hanna (600 victims), was in a state of total panic. After its passage, Ike finished destroying the bridges that had withstood the initial onslaught of water, adding more than 50 people to the death toll.
