Google's driverless car approved!
Google has been testing its driverless car for over a year. For those who don't know, it's a normal car equipped with a whole range of technologies, including a 360° camera on the roof.
While it was forbidden to drive this driverless car, this ban has just been lifted... in one US state only. The state in question is Nevada, where Google had carried out a large proportion of its tests.
For the moment, this revolutionary car is reserved for people with reduced mobility, but over time it should be available to everyone. It's true that these cars will certainly not be flocking to the roads of Nevada. The technology is certainly too expensive and production is certainly not yet planned.
Nevertheless, the registration of this first driverless car is a major step forward for the giant Google, which has no intention of stopping there and continuing its research so that it can be offered to the general public in the not-too-distant future! I'm already looking forward to it!
