2012 Presidential Election: Second Round Results: Hollande or Sarkozy

Since Suisse-blog.ch is based in Switzerland, it does not fall under the very restrictive French laws that prohibit all publication of results before the closing of polling stations.

The latest polls were all in favour of the election of the socialist François Hollande, the final verdict will be announced around 8pm but results can be consulted on this page from 5-6pm!

52.5 to 53% of votes

Nicolas Sarkozy
47 to 47.5% of the votes
