Lara Gut missed out on the podium by 23 hundredths of a second in the race that was her best chance at a medal. It's a shame, but the young woman from Ticino could make up for it in other events, and certainly at the upcoming World Championships.

Betting on sporting events
The best bookmakers for Alpine Skiing are Bwin, Bet at Home, and Interwetten. It is also efficient but less popular in the French-speaking world. Betclic is very efficient but specializes in soccer.
